How many items can I list for sale on BAKEMEO
There is no limit to the number of listings you may post, however we reserve the right to delete any postings that do not fit our listing criteria. We reserve the right to delete any listings that appear to be duplicates. We reserve the right to review and approve every listing.
Does BAKEMEO take a cut
We charge a 10% commission on each transaction.
What about sales tax
As a vendor on this platform you must include your sales tax in the total price of your product and you are 100% responsible for paying your own sales taxes monthly. You must be familiar with the sales tax in your state so that you calculate the correct amount.
How are Payouts Calculated (Payouts same as Cashouts)
If you sell an item for $5 Stripe will deduct a payment processing fee of 2.9%+.30cents which is .45cents. We retain a 10% commission (x $5.00) which is .50cents. So you will make $4.05 on the item you sold for $5.00.
What are Visible Listings
Visible listings are listings that will show up on the browse pages, and in the search results. Listing are only visible when a Vendor has completed the entire profile including their Cashout steps with Stripe. Customers are unable to buy products if these steps have not been completed.
Accepting Orders
When a Buyer places an order, the Vendor must select ACCEPT for that order to go through otherwise the Payment Hold will be dropped after 3 days.
